Frankly Olive & Goose was created from a lifelong love of creativity, the Lowcountry, Blue Ridge Mountain sunsets, and the kind of art that makes a house feel a little more like home.

The name of the company is especially personal — inspired by my three babies (pets): Frank, Olive, and Goose. They each have enough personality to run the business themselves, but for now they stick to being my daily inspiration, studio sidekicks, and unofficial quality control team.

I grew up in Northern Virginia before moving to Charleston, South Carolina during my senior year of high school. Charleston quickly became home and continues to inspire so much of my creative perspective through its coastal beauty, historic charm, colorful character, and slower way of life.

Art has always been part of who I am. My dad is an artist (KeithWilkieArt) and my mom not only is extremely crafty but also is an architect who received her masters at Harvard of all places…show off… but seriously I was surrounded by art. I took every art class my schools had to offer. All of this shaped both my perspective and my love for all art forms. From sketchbooks, paint-covered clothes and random doodles to experimenting with color and texture, creating has always been my favorite outlet.

I attended the College of Charleston, where I studied Hospitality and Marketing. Professionally, I now work full time as an accountant for an event company, which means my days are usually filled with spreadsheets, budgets, and numbers — and my evenings are filled with paint, creativity, and probably pet hair in places it should not be.

Frankly Olive & Goose became a way for me to reconnect with creativity outside of my professional career and build something that feels personal, joyful, and authentic. Every original piece is created with the hope that it brings color, warmth, happiness, and a little personality into your space.
